14KT is the most recent winner of the Red Bull Big Tune contest, taking home the cup at the championship last November in the windy city. A couple years ago he released an instrumental project, Nowalataz. He then sent off the instrumentals to select emcees, but didn’t exactly get them all back in return to release the proper project. But, Aloe Blacc did hit him back with this joint, in which Aloe takes it back to when he was 14 years old. 14 KT explains, “2009. I asked my mans Aloe Blacc to laced this joint for the “Nowalataz” rerelease I was gonna do. I had asked an artist for each song, but I never really heard back from anyone so I ended up not getting the project done. However, Aloe Blacc was the first cat to ever hit me back. I sent him the joint and the NEXT day, he sent the verse back for the love. He wrote about being 14 years old. I appreciate him and thank him for looking out for me. Aloe, you know I got you..whatever you need. Peace.”
