I’m proud to present the first single from 5 O’Clock Shadowboxers, for their joint “Stay Clean,” where they continue to blend various influences and genres to help create mood for their musical landscape…Fusing samples from the NY noir flick “Black of Silence,” as well as meshing unique and sometimes untraditional sample sources from the likes of Elliott Smith, Cat Power, Radiohead, etc, the duo of MC/Vocalist Zilla Rocca and producer Douglas Martin have created a dark but beautifully streamed album from front to end in their debut LP “The Slow Twilight” dropping June 23rd.
