50 Cent’s new album, Before I Self-Destruct, is slated to drop November 23rd. Mr. Jackson made a movie to go along with the LP, and will be packaging the two together. 50 said the film was inspired by the music, and focuses on real-life situations when people feel they are out of options. IMDB summarizes the film as a “coming of age story about an inner-city youth raised by a hardworking single mother. When his dream of becoming a basketball player fails to materialize, he finds himself employed in a supermarket. After his mother is tragically gunned down, Clarence (played by Jackson) is consumed by revenge and takes up a life of crime in order to support his younger brother.”
