TheDREAMERS: “Calling (For You)”

TheDREAMERS dropped this new track about the ups and downs of a relationship this past Valentine Day, which seems to fit perfectly with the theme of the record. Chicago emcee, Sey, spits a quick 16 while PRXJECT serenades the listener with smooth vocals over production by Bear Blu! & AX.

[Video] TheDREAMERS: “Fate”

"I wrote this song to get me on." TheDREAMERS is a fairly large artist collective coming up right now in the windy city.  Earlier in the week we featured their record, "Silly" featuring Sey and King NoCastle.  Yesterday the crew released their debut project, Visions of Reality, as well as this new video for "Fate".  Watch the video and check out the mixtape below.

TheDREAMERS: “Silly” feat. King NoCastle

"I only ate one McChicken this week." TheDREAMERS unleash a new record entitled "Silly" featuring verses by Chicago's own Sey & King NoCastle, plus a raw sample in the instrumental done by Bear Blu!. The collective's Visions of Reality mixtape is due out soon and you can expect more bouncy, soul-induced jams like this one in the project.

TheDreamers: “Too Trill” feat Cody DeCamry

TheDREAMERS is a new up-and-coming collective composed by Chi-Town spitter Sey and producers BearBlu! & AX who are looking to create a buzz with their self-titled upcoming project. "Too Trill" is their latest single and it features Cody DeCamry plus some braggadocious lines full of trillness.

MellorD: “Hunger Games” (feat. Lou Sinergy) (prod. by Bear Blu)

Hip Hop from across the pond rarely gets any coverage in America, but tracks like MellorD's "Hunger Games" deserve to get some shine here too. The British emcee shows his lyrical dexterity over a bombastic instrumental by Bear Blu, who's a personal favorite for me when it comes to up-and-coming producers and a member of TheDREAMERS collective. Vibe to this one below and check out MellorD's…

[RH Premiere] Sey: “Is This Real?”

Chicago emcee Sey, knows a thing or two on the struggles that comes with being a young individual trying to maintain his life afloat while pursuing his dreams and in "Is This Real?", his latest solo release and a RH Premiere, he documents the ever-lasting journey that will take you through breakups, drug use, character traits, industry practices, being broke, killings, the desolate job market,…

Sey: “Years.”

RH readers may know Sey as part of theDREAMERS, who released a very solid project at the end of 2012.  Sey is on the solo tip right now, working on Is This Real? a project that centers around some pretty pessimist topics including drug use, a poor job market, industry rule 4080, and more.  It's lead drop is "Years.", which introduces the dark tones over production from fcuknormality.  Peep it…
