This is a record that we recorded almost two years ago now when we did our very first Closed Session with DJ Babu. While we released the record “Bionic Jaws”, and the accompanying documentary, there was a second record that Babu made with ADaD that kind of got lost in the shuffle. So, with ADaD’s PS…I’m Next about to drop, our “Natural High” release party coming up with DJ Babu, and a pretty much done new Closed Sessions album featuring Raekwon, CyHi The Prynce, L.E.P., Blu, and more, it’s a great time to put out “Stay On Your Square”.
ADaD does a great job of schooling us to the rules of the game, intertwining various hustles to the point that you don’t know whether he’s selling music, drugs, or health insurance.. The recipe is always the same, make your product great before you go pitching it.
