ADaD

“Yeah this dream is bittersweet, a nightmare on 33rd st.”

This is the second leak from my the Columbia College x DJ RTC project: On Deck Vol. 1.  “Live From The Belly” is straight up Chicago Hip Hop as good at its best. The beat comes courtesy of Kenautis Smith, who uses a piano sample to create a soulful canvas that will remind listeners of John Legend’s “Let’s Get Lifted”.  ADaD is joined on the track by Simeon and Race of Primeridian, and all three emcees tell a tale of growing up in the belly of the beast that is the windy city.  The track is available for free download below, and as mentioned above, will appear on my upcoming mixtape with Columbia College’s AEMP Record label entitled On Deck Vol. 1.  The mixtape will be released in late October digitally as well as in hard copy.  The mixtape features new music from Mikkey Halsted, Naledge, Cap D, Rockie Fresh, Really Doe, GLC, Sulaiman, Scheme, YP, Darnell Williams, Vic Mensa, and more.
