2011 started with this album and took up most of my time and energy throughout the year. I experienced a lot of highs with Closed Sessions: ATX, as well as some lows. Creating this album and everything associated with its release is something that taught me a lifetime of lessons, more than anything else I’ve done so far. I’ve been listening to Closed Sessions: ATX a lot the last couple weeks, and smiling wider each time. This album contains so much great Hip Hop, and so many great memories for me. We released it in March with Decon, making it available on iTunes as well as Amazon (along with the documentary). As we enter 2012 with a new design for RubyHornet.com as well as new music and documentaries from Closed Sessions, I just want more people to hear this album that was created by an immensely talented and passionate group of artists and people.
