Angel Olsen: “Hi-Five”

Angel Olsen lures you in with her devastatingly lovely voice on “Hi-Five,” the second single from her upcoming  album Burn Your Fire for No Witness, due out February 18th via Jagjaguwar.  Burn Your Fire has already received rave reviews, praising Olsen’s talent for song-writing and already naming the album to be a favorite for 2014.

“Hi-Five” takes on a twangy country vibe with Olsen’s warbling vocals, straight-froward strumming guitar, and simple beats. Olsen doesn’t stray from her usual themes of longing and sadness but takes a sarcastic spin on this track singing, “Are you lonely too? High five, so am I.” Listen to the track and check out her upcoming tour dates!
