Apollo Brown, who many may know as part of The Left, is one of Detroit’s premier producers. The Motor City has long had a tradition of soulful production, emphasized by the late and great J. Dilla who continues to inspire generations of music makers to come. While Black Milk, and Dilla’s younger brother Illa J have stepped onto the forefront as leading Detroit’s sound, we must also recognize Apollo Brown who has been quite prolific over the last two years, as well as skillful. On March 1st he will release yet another project, Clouds, a full and lush instrumental album. He relation to the release, Apollo and Melo Music Group are giving out “Never In A Million Years” a soothing piece in which the symphony meets the boom bap.
