Apollo Brown’s recently released instrumental album, Clouds, is densely populated with rich sound structures and intricate production. Picking up on both, Oddisee, also a member of Brown’s Mello Music Group, transforms the instrumental “Tao Te Ching” into “The Times”. Oddisee delves into current events on the new song, tapping into his Sudanese heritage and delivering a message to his extended family in Africa.
