We told you all for a year now, about the Philadelphia born and bred MC Asaad and his skills handling the mic. We recently featured him in our First Look column, producing one of the more inspirational interviews we’ve seen in a while. The 20-year old rapper is extremely confident in his craft, while simultaneously emitting the sense humility which breeds success. As he described in our interview, “Dirty Middle Class, a lot of people ask me about that. That’s me and my buddy Troy. That’s really been Troy’s imprint since we met on Myspace…It’s a compilation of everyone who represents Dirty Middle Class… It’s a collective of kids. It’s a way of the youth right now, a sign of the times”. The project features Casey Veggies, Mac Miller, Rich Hil, Gilbert Forte + more. Recently, Asaad released the cover art and announced Dirty Middle Class will drop on December 25th. Look out for a couple more stocking stuffers before the drop, things will get interesting.
