The first listen of this came via Bonaroo 2009 (see it here) where the Beastie Boys brought out Nas to perform the first single off their new LP, The Hot Sauce Committee, which will be released on September 15th . “Too Many Rappers” will be officially released on July 21st as a limited piece of wax. There’s a few good lines in here, such as the “grandpa been rapping since ’83”. The start date is emphasized as both the Beasties and Nas take a ‘back to the essence’ approach on the flow. This track is growing on me…That’s the best I can say so far, cue in Nelson…
