And I asked for a new iPod for Chanukah smh…. Just kidding (especially to the person that got me said iPod). I would admittedly rather listen to Mike D’s music than look at him every time I check my watch, but this is still a pretty dope and fun piece created by Nixon as a collaboration with the Beastie Boys. The center of the watch features Mike D in captain’s attire. For those of you at their last show at Northerly Island, you’ll remember Mike D wearing something similar during their set and repeatedly calling himself the captain of the harbor. The band of the watch features a quote from Mike D, “I accept this award on behalf of the band,” while the other band features “Beastie Boys” in graffiti.
