Chicago-based producer Dee Lilly popped on our radar via Muprh Watkins, one of my favorite up and coming emcees. Murph sent me the Dee Lilly produced record, “You Want ItYour Way”, and told me to be on the look for more. Murp stayed true to his word and gave us “Stop”, another gem with beats by Dee Lilly. Today we have Dee’s proper introduction with Obey, his new beat tape showcasing his soulful, open, and at times, spacey production.
