Beyonce is at it again! Her and her mom, Tina Knowles have created a sister line to Dereon called Sasha Fierce. The line is inspired by the character Sasha Fierce after Beyonce’s album. All of the clothes are supposed to be reminiscent of what she has worn on tour with exaggerated accessories in gold and silver. The clothes are simple silhouettes to show off the accessories with a faux leather jacket, body suit, and black tanks and tees. Dereon’s parent company has talked of the success they found with logo tees based on Beyonce’s lyrics, so this should be an obvious hit… I don’t know if I’m so sure about that. The line, just in time for fall back to school, has been picked up by Macy’s and Dilliard’s, as well as Jimmy Jazz. Price points are similar to Dereon charging in between $25-$75. I don’t know how I feel about this… The last thing we need is more mini-B’s running around!
