Big KRIT

Big K.R.I.T. is having quite the run.   Since the start of 2010 he has seriously upped his ante.   I remember the first emails I got about K.R.I.T and his work with Creative Control, and I must admit the potential I saw back then has definitely continued to increase.   While K.R.I.T. basks in the glow leftover from his recent Def Jam signing, he simultaneously drops new music.   Today we are hit with K.R.I.T.’s geographical jump off, “Straight Up Out The South”.   The magic of this track comes from its heavily “NYC underground” sound and the way that K.R.I.T. plays on Hip Hop stereotypes that Southern rappers don’t pack a lyrical punch.   It is emcees such as K.R.I.T., Donnis, and Curren$y that continue to prove that the South definitely has bars.   Download the new joint below via Mixtapedaily.
