Big Sean

Somebody cue up the Ice Cube, because today is a good day for Detroit’s Big Sean.  Def Jam sent out a press release declaring a March release date for Big Sean’s official debut Finally Famous.  The LP will be released via Def Jam and Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music Imprint.  It’s the culmination of a life long dream for the 22 year-old Big Sean who said, “I remember in the eighth grade I told myself, man I’m going to be signed to Def Jam,” says Sean.  “I always put it out into the universe and I think it was written for me.  I was meant to inspire people, I was meant to make music.  There’s been so many nights where instead of going out I’ve had to work and was depressed so I feel like I deserve this.  This is what I was meant to do.”

Big Sean also released the album’s first single, “My Last” featuring Chris Brown and production from Chicago’s No ID.  The song premiered on Big Sean’s Facebook page and you can also listen to it below.
