Blue Scholars: “May Day”

Blue Scholars

Blue Scholars

I’ve been a fan of Blue Scholars since their Rawkus days in 2007.  While they have not been as active as of late, their music is always on point.  This new cut, which Geo actually wrote for the Seattle Times, is razor sharp.  Geo was asked to write about gun violence in Seattle, and this record cuts to the core of the problems, which are deep, multi-generational, and change depending on who you ask and who is on the wrong side of the weapon.  Check it out below.
