B.o.B. has broken the seal on Odd Future diss songs, or should I say Odd Future diss records that reach the general consciousness. In a song titled “No Future”, B.o.B. laments the youngins in the game not giving others their proper respects. If B.o.B. feels genuinely slighted personally by OFWGKTA, or is more-so commenting on their overall “f**k everything attitude” is not really known. After listen, it’s still questionable to me if this is a direct diss or a song with a coincidental title and subject matter….
Tyler, The Creator responded to the record via Twitter where he said, “Whoa. I Don’t Think The ‘No Future’ Song Is Even A Diss. But, Ive Never Heard Him Spit Like That. Took Me By Surprise, Cus Its Tight,” which was followed by, “Still Hate That Airplanes Song Tho. It Has The Same Chord Progression As Fucking ‘Love The Way You Lie’ And That One Song By Katy Perry…”
I’m kind of surprised B.o.B. made this record going after Odd Future, if this is actually a full diss song rather than one line rhyming the word future. I would not be surprised if Big Sean had something to say, after Tyler posted this photo last night with the quote, “Look Yall I’m Big Sean.”
