Boldy James

I’ve been hearing a lot about Detroit’s Boldy James, the emcee who burst onto the scene with his video for “I Sold Drugs All My Life”, a brash “how-to” in the narcotics game.  Last night he released his new mixtape, Trappers Alley, a 14 song debut with production handled by familiar names like Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids and Chicago’s Tye Hill.  Also on the set are Tennille, and Sir Michael Rocks, in a mixtape that has very few features, allowing listeners to get to know Mr. James.

With all the buzz surrounding James, it’d be poor of me to not give the mixtape a try. If you are so inclined as well, download it below.
