“Ain’t certain if you’ll make it ain’t sure you even want to.”

Bill O’Reily would love this one… Hitting his iPod real soon is Brother Ali’s new single, “Mourning In America”, produced by Jake One.  It’s the latest offering from his forthcoming album, Mourning In America and Dreaming In Color, which will drop September 18th via Rhymesayers.  The song will certainly spark discussion as Brother Ali examines the fine line between terrorism and patriotism, murder and protection.

The song lives up to everything Brother Ali has said thus far about his new album, one that is heavily inspired by the economic, social, political, and cultural climate of the last few years.  Mirroring the album title’s duality, and the way in which from great problems also comes great opportunity, Ali says in this song, “I ain’t hating I still want to believe it, And I’m not trying to leave it I just call it how I see it.”

Brother Ali’s new album is available for pre-order now.
