Even after my trip to the Carhartt shop in Wicker Park on Saturday I was not aware the popular work wear and now street fashion brand Carhartt would be working on releasing camera’s, but with their upscale swag it doesn’t surprise me. In collaboration with Japanese distributor PowerShovel, Carhartt will be dropping the Blackbird Fly, a quirky twin-lens design based on the Rolleiflex. Hit the jump for the camera’s specs + more pics.

It features the signature Carhartt logo on the lid of the top-down viewfinder, and a small bird along with “BFF” etched into the high quality exterior of the camera. This collaborative camera should be available for the Fall/Winter 2011 season.
