Goodie Mob

While hints and talk have abounded for the last couple years, Cee-Lo Green made the Goodie Mob album official today with a simple post on Twitter.  The reunion album will be called We Sell Drugs Too, and is expected to drop this fall.  The album will be the group’s first LP with all four founding members since 1998’s Still Standing.  Goodie Mob made major noise with their 1995 debut, Soul Food, which was fueled by the title track as well as “Cell Therapy”.  I vividly remember “Cell Therapy” playing over and over and over along side classics by the Fugees, Bone, and Notorious B.I.G.  The Mob is a pioneering group of “Dirty South” Hip Hop, ushering in the all new sound with fellow Dungeon Family members, Outkast.
