Here is something new from Chance Fischer, off his forthcoming May release Friends. Romans. Collegemen. “Ceremony” is a very revealing song for Chance, who uses the music as a way to deal with the death of his friends during his senior year of college.

He writes, Produced by Kleph Dollaz and art-directed by Rickie Jacobs, CEREMONY finds me in a place of dealing with the death of friends during my senior year of college. The concept is “death” being this award no one really deserves and me sitting in the audience angry and shocked that my friends received it. It also speaks to the trauma of knowing death is around and wondering who/what’s next. I’m finally comfortable enough to share it with the world.”
