Here’s the Dope Couture side of things from the homie Matt, who will be in the Chi 2nite for the Chicago Picasso release party at the Leg Room. April 20th was Dope Couture x Wale. We now present our second Hip-Hop Artist collaboration. May 20th is Dope Couture x Naledge.
The artwork features a cubist-style portrait of Naledge inspired by Picasso’s piece “Seated woman with wrist watch”. The quote on the back is from Picasso’s lettres françaises translating as “Art is an offensive weapon in the defense against the enemy.”
We will be at the Chicago Picasso release party tonight at The Legroom 7 West Division, Downtown Chicago. It’s free all night. Dress your best: no hats, no sneakers. Shirts will be available for purchase at the release party (and online starting today). Hope to see you there.
