CHICAGO SEES PLUTO AS AJANI JONES DROPS NEW HEAT

Talk to anyone in the Chicago music scene and at some point, usually sooner than later, someone will mention Ajani Jones. Flying the Closed Sessions flag, this Southside native runs alongside pure talent such as Kweku Collins and Jamilla Woods. And as expected, Ajani has dropped some absolute fire we definitely didn’t know we needed.

With yesterdays release of “Pluto”, a single off his upcoming LP “Dragonfly”,  Jones continues to show his lyrical ability and growth as an artist. With help of the talented engineer/producer BanksTheGenius, Pluto gives you nostalgic vibes with warm instrumentation and deliberate bars. For me personally the track feels like those Chicago summer nights spent reflecting on what brought you to be who you are. All the pitfalls, the triumphs and the memories. Ajani rekindled those feelings for me, I hope he can do the same for you.

Listen below and be ready to reflect.

Be on the lookout for Ajani’s debut LP “Dragonfly”, July 16th| pre-save
