Is there anything Donald Glover cannot do? He wrote for 30 Rock, is currently on Community, is a great stand up comic, and is now tackling the rap game. He recently dropped “Freaks and Geeks”, displaying his lyrical prowess. The five tracks are good and they all have a contagious energy. He feels a bit out of place in the rap game given his roots. He’s kind of like a more fearless version of Hoodie Allen in that he loves to make references. But he’s different because he is more personal in his rhymes and I’m pretty sure there is nowhere he will not go lyrically. Check out the talented Mr. Glover’s 5 track tape below.
