Chromeo, the electrofunk duo credited for some of the decade’s most addicting pop songs and memorable live performances, is announcing a string of 34 new Fall tour dates, aptly titled the ‘Night Falls’ tour, in addition to their many upcoming festival appearances throughout the globe this year. This seven week journey across North America will be the biggest, most extensive tour in the band’s history.  Joining the twosome on the road is soulful crooner Mayer Hawthorne, the Stones Throw alum now signed to Universal, and, on selected dates, Ed Banger’s very own funkateer Breakbot.Chromeo members Dave 1 and P-Thugg hit new heights with the release of the critically acclaimed Business Causal this past year, appearing on Late Night with David Letterman and Conan O’Brien.  Their next official single, “When The Nights Falls” featuring Solange Knowles, is being released as a remix EP on July 26th through Big Beat/Atlantic Records.  The single package features remixes by Hercules & Love Affair, Lifelike, Breakbot and a cover version by Mayer Hawthorne.
