CS ATX

Earlier today we announced that Closed Sessions: ATX is now available for pre-order on iTunes.  We’re in a good mood and are celebrating with more music from the LP, this one a leak as part of the relaunch of Epitonic Records, and support from the our friends at The Dope House.  The song is “For No One” and features Esso from Harlem rocking with Chicago’s Scheme, and producer Tony Baines.  Every song is my favorite song, but damn, “For No One” really connects with me at times.  I’ve listened to the whole album front to back a s**tload, so I go through cycles of which I like the best, and this track has definitely held that spot.  Esso and Scheme worked really well together, although they never met.  In fact, none of us had met Esso at all or even spoken to him before he hit me that was in town, heard of the mansion, and was interested in coming through.  We scooped him from 6th street and the rest is on the track.  Download the song after the jump.  Also be sure to check out Esso’s new RH sponsored mixtape, YandILife.

Epitonic was also included in a recent episode of NPR’s 848.  The full album drops 3.15.11 via Decon.
