DJ Eves has been holding down the wheels at The Hip Hop Project for a long-time, becoming a mainstay in Chicago’s Hip Hop scene. Next week he will drop a new mixtape, which is hosted by Reks and titled I Know What You Did Last Mixtape. While the project will be released on March 29th, he has freed up a unreleased gem by Common as a precursor. The track, “Follow Me”, is vintage Common, and said to have been recorded sometime in the early-mid 2000’s. Karriem Riggins produced the cut, which you can grab below.
