Yesterday Pusha T spoke to DJ Moondawg about the so-called beef with Consequence. Speaking bluntly Pusha stated that no one has ever really checked for Cons’ music. Today Consequence FIRED BACK at Pusha & Kanye earlier on WGCI. Cons started the call by asking for the floor at least 3-minutes to be uninterrupted so he could go in to detail exclaiming, he is “the best pure lyricist in hip-hop & in music right now”, Pusha T is jet fuel to Kanye just as he was to Pharrell, but perhaps the most outlandish claim was in response to Pusha’s statement that no one checks for Consequence’s music. In his own defense, Cons claimed that because he featured on a chorus on a song off Beyonce’s latest LP, people are checking for him. LOL. To me this is all classic diss culture, as of course Cons drops a new diss track at the end of the interview, and claims he has a large announcement about when the fans can expect Movies On-Demand 3. Cons also mentioned GLC & Really Doe as they are also extremely close to Ye, but as they all have been faded out of G.O.O.D, they have kept their mouths shut. Ultimately he stated, the beef will continue until he and Jay-Z have a sit down and converse about the situation. Cons, we know you’re hurting but please stop while your ahead as your career is on the brink of being ruined. Tread softly. Hit the jump to listen to the interview + stream the diss after the jump.
