West Side rapper Dally Auston has been on a steady grind over the last few months dropping singles like “Nike Effect” and “290 Effect” but yesterday he put out a three track EP called This Is The FUTURE. The songs – “Cambina”, “Cactus” and “Baron Davis” – are all produced by fellow Chicagoan Cangelosi who brought minimal, nocturnal production that keeps all of the tracks together. The only feature on it comes from one of Dally’s frequent collaborators and up-comer Qari on “Cambina”. In classic Dally Auston form none of the tracks are more than 3 minutes, but he’s able to pack in a lot in the 8 minutes that he’s rapping. Dally continues to carve his own lane with this project and is really able to showcase his creativity and unique perspective throughout This Is The FUTURE. For now it’s only available on SoundCloud but it’s coming to all other platforms soon. Check out the project here.
