I got this song over the weekend, and meant to post it earlier, but didn’t get a proper chance. The second time around it hits the RH pages. David Banner has teamed up with 9th Wonder for a project called “Death of The Pop Star”. It is aimed at creating music based off real issue, and judging from the title, won’t contain much boasting and bragging. This track, “Something’s Wrong” was done a short time ago, and was inspired by the brutal killing of Derrion Albert, an honor roll student from Chicago who was beaten to death by a mob of students. Banner follows Nas in speaking out against the tragedy, as Nas penned a letter to Chicago’s youth and also appeared on CNN. Hit the jump for David Banner’s song as well as Nas’ appearance.
