Derek Jeter

Derek Jeter became the first Yankee in history to reach 3,000 career hits, and just the 28th player overall. Jeter joins elusive company that includes Pete Rose, Willie Mays, George Brett, Cal Ripken, Rod Carew, and other hall of famers.  To commemorate his achievement, New Era has created a limited edition fitted that includes a special side batch celebrating the Yankee captain.

In other Jeter news, HBO was following Jeter in the weeks leading up to his 3,000th hit and they will air a special documentary focusing on Jeter and his achivement.  Look for that soon.

In other other news, I still hate the Yankees.
