Diddy

“It’s easy to be Puff, it’s harder to be Sean”

I don’t know where to start on the long awaited video for “Coming Home”, a single from the “I thought that album wasn’t coming out archive” of Diddy’s Last Train To Paris.  It’s clear that LTTP was inspired by Kanye’s 808’s and Heartbreaks, as Diddy announced that project around the time ‘Ye dropped his LP with no rapping. In this video Diddy stays on his Kanye, by also flashing a bottom row of gold teeth (no word if those are permanent though)… All joking aside, Diddy gets his Cat Stevens on as he walks through a desert that resembles shells of his house.  TVs, expensive wardrobes, sound systems, luxury vehicles, and microwaves are strewn about as Diddy takes a sad journey through his iPod, getting bummed out by songs such as “Tears of a Clown” and “A House is Not a Home”. But, just as Moses reaches the promised land, by the 3rd verse Puff has hit a club banger in his iTunes and everything seems to be on the up and up.  Forget being stranded in some sort of desert ghost house, Diddy’s got a helicopter waiting for him. Cha-ching!

The video cost a lot of money, and premiered on E!  You can see it below.  Props to Diddy on a solid song, video, and concept.
