DJ Broadway Streetz just hit us with his best of Common mixtape, Stony Island Rashid: The 87th Street Doctrine, which he put together with Steve “Miggety” Maestro. There’s no bells and whistles on this joint, as it’s all killer no filler of the songs that made Common a favorite in the Windy City and beyond. “Watermelon”, “Bitch In You”, “The Light”, and on and on, this is 120 minutes to just let play out. Broadway is also gearing up for a new all Chicago mixtape, which features Chi-town favorites Mikkey Halsted, Mick Luter, Shawnna, and will be presented in part by RubyHornet with a party and release to follow.
