Indianapolis’ DJ Metrognome just hit us up with his latest mixtape, Soul Supreme v.1. The mix is a lesson is digging, blending, and quality DJing as Metrognome travels through soul music stopping at classic as well as lesser-known gems.
He told us, “My goal with this project was to combine some of the bigger names on the soul scene (Sade, Dwele, Goapele, etc) with lesser-known but equally talented artists (Coultrain, Ayah, PPP’s, etc). The download link will provide with you all the music (individual song files + 1 long mix for those that have cluttered iTunes that are always on shuffle) as well as the artwork and tracklisting.”
