“I just want to tell the truth…”
Damn, they even got the Jay-Z feature?! Splash posted “Light Up” off a new Evil Empire mixtape, and it’s simply really, really good. Drake’s debut album drops June 15th, hopefully it doesn’t continue to leak in bits and pieces before then. It creates a somewhat “damned if you do, damned if you don’t effect.” I guess, I’m theoretically in favor of music not leaking as a music fan. But… the music does leak and it does get posted all over, so what are we to do? That’s something for a different discussion. Jay-Z tells Drake what he should do to continue his climb in the music biz, and it is as entertaining as it is informative. Grab it below.
