Earl Sweatshirt’s taken on an almost mythical role in the whole Odd Future story. For starters, he was just missing for a while. Then some writers went digging and found him at a boarding school. Then we got a letter from Earl. Then we got news that the letter was really written by his mom. On top of that, many Odd Future fans feel Earl is the most talented emcee in the whole crew, making his absence more hard hitting and his eventual return even more anticipated. Last night we got a “new” Earl Sweatshirt record in “Home”. Is he really back? We will find out soon enough.
