Elujay Drops New Album “Adojio”

Oakland based rapper/singer Elujay just dropped his latest album Adojio via onetime!/Empire. In our interview with him over the summer during a stop over in Chicago on his tour Elujay told us to expect a lot more guitar in this album and he wasn’t kidding, Steve Lacy would be a natural on this album, but he isn’t needed. Love is the dominating theme of this album, but there are a ton of underlying messages in each track. Over all it’s a warm, easy listen that transports you straight to California sunshine.

The first track, “Spaceships” comes out strong, with that west coast bop we’ve come to expect from him, complete with an Ebro endorsement at the end. “Starchild” is a stand out, but the 7 track album doesn’t have any weak spots.

Adojio is available on all streaming platforms now. You can catch Elujay in your city soon, peep the tour flyer below.
