Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" announce new EP

The early Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ collaborations left many fans wanting more from the Bad Meets Evil tandem.  However, a disagreement between the two kept working together off the table, before they fixed the misunderstandings, and rebuilt a friendship. Following Eminem and Royce making amends, Eminem took a liking to Royce’s supergroup, Slaughterhouse and signed them as part of the 2.0 version of Shady Records.  He also went back into the studio with Royce and began just making songs.  The chemistry is there, and now they have announced a new EP, which will be released June 14th via Interscope. They each had some words on the new project.

Eminem: “Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”

Royce: “I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady”

After the jump, enjoy one of my favorite Royce x Eminem joints, “Rock City”.
