“I can carry rap til my back hurts…”
They say is a leftover track from The Recovery sessions, and boy what a leftover it is. “Fly Away” is a Just Blaze produced track, which sees Just and Eminem travel through Em’s career from his start to the start of the The Recovery sessions. The strong focus is Eminem’s creative struggles and the murmurs that he may have lost it. I remember Em went on Tony Touch after Relapse dropped during the early stages of Recovery, and told Touch that he was going to back to the lab, scrapping Relapse 2, and working with Just Blaze on some new stuff. I’m not sure why this didn’t make the final album, if it is indeed a leftover from those sessions. To me, it bests much of his last LP. Listen to it below.
