Today, we at Ruby Hornet are proud to present the long-awaited EP, Overstanding. From it’s conception during the somber winter months Boston has to offer, MC Charmingly Ghetto & producers Introspective Minds are now ready to unleash this project to the masses. Overstanding is comprised of 10 tracks, representing a vibrant new sound, heavily influenced by the classic original projects crafted in the 90’s in the south, as well as the east coast. This project was spawned through the minds of students of the game with a cohesive vision, turning to be one of the most eclectic & organic Hip-Hop releases yet in 2011. Featuring many appearances by Baba Kamal on Saxophone and verses from K.Sparks (NY, NY) and Colo (Boston, MA) the EP meshes the emotion of the raw boom bap feel, with the jazzy glide that is so apparent in southern hip-hop, depicting what the future holds when two budding styles of Hip-Hop collab with one goal.
