Fresh and Slick Rick to Nirvana, showing us exactly just how much of an influence music in general has on such a talented and successful soul singer. “That was my morning, noon, and night music: Kurt Cobain. I connected with his spirit, his freedom, his struggle, his pain, his love. I didn’t misunderstand his message at all. The lyrics were clever and amazing.
