Tonight is the second night of Red Bull’s Thre3style World DJ Finals, which will take place at Double Door in Wicker Park, with doors opening at 9pm. The nations of S. Korea, Chile, The Netherlands and the USA will be competing for a spot at the World Finals main event this Saturday at Metro Chicago. Doors open at 9PM, get there early to witness history. The night will also feature mind-blowing performances by DJ Nu-Mark who will be showcasing his incredible “toy-set” and the Gaslamp Killer who will bring his trademark stage-wrecking energy (& hair) to the Double Door. Red Bull Thre3style is the world’s premier party rock DJ competition. To earn a spot in the World Finals, hundreds of DJs from around the globe competed in regional and national qualifiers. This week, continents will collide as eighteen DJs have descended upon Chicago to stake their claim on the coveted title of World Champion. The Red Bull Thre3style weeklong judging panel will include Jazzy Jeff, Cosmo Baker and Skratch Bastid. They will be tasked with evaluating each performer on originality/creativity, track selection, technical skills, stage presence, and audience response.
