Q-Tip is one of the best emcees, and THE BEST emcee to use the phrase “give it here”. Seriously, every time…It’s not even a complicated or brilliant phrase, but Tip…Tip’s nailed it! Last week he hit the House of Blues for a free show with Bacardi’s B-Live. Him and Z-Trip sold out (or free’d out I guess) the storied Chicago venue. They performed on time and nobody got shot, so maybe HOB will continue the Hip Hop shows…Anyway, FADER TV shutdown other press outlets on some exclusivity ish, so we were not able to talk to him, but here’s some footage of the show and a very lowkey interview in which Tip speaks on not liking something vs. hating on it, industry rule number 4080, and his fondness for our homie Hollywood Holt, Drake, Planet Asia, Blu, and a slew of others…
