Fatboi Fresh and Saba are a pretty good team, and now I know why Saba is sometimes late on his assignments over at Colubmia. He’s been in the lab with Fatboi working on new music, the most recent of which is “Born To Be A N***A”. Sonically, the song has a retro feel, harkening back to the jazz meets boom bap sounds of the 90’s, with a theme that could’ve easily been found on a De La Soul LP. Fatboi Fresh and Saba both do away with cop outs on this track, which is very, very nice. Peep it below.
