DJ Muggs

DJ Muggs helped shove Hip Hop forward in the early 90’s when he introduced a new style of production on Cypress Hill’s self-titled debut, and again on the group’s second LP, Black Sunday.  While Muggs has been identified with grimy, true-school Hip Hop sounds ever since, he’s never stopped expanding his sound, whether audiences picked up on it or not.  On his new EP, Sound Clash Business, Muggs dives heavy into drum and bass, house, and dubstep, yet still never abandoning a Hip Hop aesthetic.  The 5-song EP comes via Mishka, and also features A$AP Rocky and Chuck Inglish.  Peep it below via Complex.
