I know, I know… late pass indeed. I planned to post this in a “catch-up” kind of article, but eh, it didn’t materialize. So, in case you did not know, our homie AB at FSD linked up with Complex to consult on one of their infamous “best” lists, this one detailing the “50 Greatest Chicago Rap Songs”. The list included a lot of hits, some misses, and is most definitely a conversation piece for any fan of The ‘Go. I don’t have too many complaints about the list, except for the absence of Typical Cats, Galapagos 4, The Molemen, Nacrobats, and a lot of other Chicago crews that may not have reached the mainstream success of Common, Lupe, Kanye etc, but definitely had a cultural impact here.
