For the last few years, no one could really understand what G.O.O.D. Music was beyond a cool logo and association with the “cool table” of Hip Hop. Well, after a few years in label-limbo, G.O.O.D. Music is official once again, this time inking a partnership deal with Island Def Jam Music Group. Big Sean’s Finally Famous LP will be the first release under the new deal, which was announced today by West, Barry Weiss and Steve Bartels according to Yahoo.
“G.O.O.D. Music is an exciting new chapter in the long and successful association of Kanye West and Island Def Jam,” Barry Weiss said. “As a recording artist and a producer over the past eight years, there is no one who has made a greater impression on the game than Kanye. We look forward to working closely with the new and established artists that he will be bringing to G.O.O.D. Music, which is already off to an impressive start with Big Sean.”
